Keith, thanks for the heads up! I admire performers who can do two things at once. Earlier this year I saw "Lawyer Dave" of Holly Golightly and the Broke-offs on kick drum and slide guitar. How these guys keep solid timing while playing longer stretches on their other instrument is inspiring.

It sounds like you went there a week early. Adam Gussow posted that he'll be taking his one-man band there this week. There are plenty of video of him playing on youtube.

Sue, it's so great to hear again that Hannah is doing well. I'll try to make the Knoxville ride, but if I can't, you know my thoughts will be with y'all that day!

As you know, I know first hand of the depth of despair and fright one feels when the news of the "monster" comes to your family. My niece, Hannah Kate Lawson, was diagnosed with a very rare brain tumor when she was 7 (almost 8). Because of God's grace and healing hand, Hannah is now 2 years out from her diagnosis and is doing quite well.

I have been involved in the Ride For Kids since Hannah was diagnosed and am on the Knoxville Task Force. Hannah inspired me to get my bike at the 1st Ride For Kids we participated in. I agree with all that have commented that once you come to ride with the "Stars" you are hooked for life.

Come to Knoxville and ride with us on July 31st!!!!!!!

Great recap Steve. I agree with you that seeing these patients and hearing their stories makes it all worthwhile. I really got emotional as Jessica's voice wavered and cracked as she revealed her recurrence. Just got to love these kids and it affects the teenagers a little differently since they do know a bit more about life and are trying to come into their own. It is tough so let's keep helping them as much as we can.
